First big test of the big D-School

Well, tomorrow's the big day. First big test of dental school...anatomy. I feel confident and ready to tackle this beast. Hopefully it will turn out ok, I will update tomorrow, unless I get wasted after class at the bar (Croxley Ales for 10-cent wings and beer if you care to join). Ok, off to bed I go.

...branches of the subclavian artery start with the thyrocervical artery (which gives rise to the suprascapular a, transverse cervical a, ascending cervical a, and inferior thyroid a), dorsal scapular artery, superior thoracic a, thoracoacromial a (which gives rise to clavicular a, acromial a, deltoid a, and pectoral a), lateral thoracic artery, subscapular artery (which gives rise to subscapular circumflex a and thoracodorsal a), and then the anterior and posterior humeral circumflex artery...and ALL of this happens in your neck and armpit!!! holy mother!!!! Now, if all of this didn't put you to sleep, then something's wrong with you...because it's workin for me...

Really quick update

OK, so quick update...

School's rollin along. There are about 2 quizzes a week and a midterm around the corner. Makin friends, seems like it'll be a fun year in lab (where I'll be spending quite a bit of time I'm sure) with the neighbors nearby. Biochem and anatomy are the major courses, and anatomy is even crazier than it was in undergrad (which was cuh-razy).

But amidst all the craziness that is school, I must fit in time for CMJ (music). Quite stoked about it even though we missed the first show due to looooong days for both Er and I. So we missed John Vanderslice and Aqueduct among others. Tonight is a go though and so is the rest of the weekend.

OK, must study now, I have a quiz tomorrow!

OH!!! One last thing, I learned how to brush my teeth today...the prof said "you jiggle jiggle jiggle mucho times". hahahahahaha, I will demonstrate if you ask. It's quite hilarious.

TDo, out.

Is that what I'm doing?

Go read QC. Is that what's goin on in my mind? Am I Marten? Nah, I'm not an indie rock nerd...or am I? I'll just settle for nerd.

You've just won a million bucks!

JT wins the sweepstakes! She's the first piece of mail to grace my mailbox. And for that, she gets a special treat.

Another winner: TDo! He's now got both an Er AND a Jude in the City!

Now you can't have 2 winners and no losers...someone's gotta lose...
Loser: TDo. He's gotta study. In fact, he has to study so much that he's what some call a loser's loser.

it's some sort of record right? posting twice in one day...

Just saw The 40 Year Old Virgin...Hilarious!!!!! Go watch it, what time is it now? Leave in 15...GO!!!!

So then we get back home, and BAM! We get hit with the horrid smell of asian herbs being brewed. Apparently, my white roommate swears by these asian herbs that have been used "for thousands and thousands of years". So, we are now aerating our dorm, which consists of opening the windows, and the door to the hallway. All of this means that I will take some flak for brewing these stuff cuz it must be the asian who did it...

Anyways, gotta study, I'm behind, and first day of class isn't even here yet!

It's a small world afterall

Went to Jersey to see Coldplay with Brian, Ben and Natalie. Trained down for an hour, prepartied the whole way, and then once we got there, we realized we didn't have a bottle opener for our bottle of wine. So we walked around the tailgaters looking for sophisticated folk who would've had a bottle opener, to no avail. So we continued to walk towards the gate until we stumbled on 2 girls chillin on the lawn, drinking wine! So they hooked us up with a bottle opener AND some cheese, sophisticated indeed. So while drinking wine straight from the bottle, we find out that Mary and Jackie were from Cali. No effin way, it's a small world afterall. All my friends are from Cali as well and then we run into more Cali folk who now live in the City. The six of us go in, chill out on some blankets and enjoy Rilo Kiley (also from CAli) and Coldplay. It's too bad we were so close cuz they all looked like flies. We were all singin along and dancin along anyways. Wow, a great show indeed. Until next time Coldplay...

Setlist: square one. politik (changed lyrics to:...tell me what it means. give your love to new orleans). yellow. god put a smile upon your face. speed of sound. low. a rush of blood to the head. amsterdam. white shadows. the scientist. til kingdom come. ring of fire (johnny cash cover). green eyes. clocks. talk. encore: what if. in my place. fix you.
